This course provides students with skills for effective communication. The aim of the course is, to improve the student's listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. It will also help the learners to utilize the library and other educational resources. Learners will enhance their speaking skills during lectures or when presenting a paper while giving and justifying their opinions on different subjects. Writing and study skills techniques will also be emphasized through note-taking during classes and meetings. Overall, this course enhances the learners' mannerisms and etiquette in different learning and working contexts.

Purpose: intended to fundamental understanding of the interactions that occur among people in the workplace. This Social Science course provides the student with the tools to understand and evaluate individual, group and organizational processes. The student will also gain an appreciation of the relevance of the study of organizational behaviour to the practice of human resource management.
