GENERAL OBJECTIVES

The course is intended to introduce students to the financial accounting principles which are the core units in the BBM degree course.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

At the end of this course the learner will be able to

        i.            Record incomes and expenditure

      ii.            Prepare cash book, petty cash book, journal, ledger and trial balances.

    iii.            Collect and analyze information for the purpose of preparing final accounts

    iv.            Prepare statement of affairs and income statements
